ABOUT ME

Claire Brislin has always loved telling stories. And reading them. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Haverford College, a Masters in Literature from Middlebury's Bread Loaf School of English, and an MFA in Writing for Children from Simmons University. Now she spends most of her time teaching young creative people and writing stories, books, poems, and songs.

Claire has trouble staying in one place. She has lived in four different countries and five different states. For outdoor fun she enjoys hiking, mountain biking,  backpacking, camping, kayaking, and general adventures in the wilderness with her pup, Haiku. For indoor fun she enjoys singing, piano, dancing, arts and crafts, and theme parties with friends and family.
